Dr. Essy Harnelly, S.Si, M.Si. Lecturer at Biology Department, Mathematics, and Natural Science Faculty. Bachelor from Biology Department Syiah Kuala University in 1993 and Master degree from Bogor Agriculture Institute in 2003. Ph.D degree in 2013 from Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Breeding, Georg-August University, Goettingen Germany. Research of interest are, Plant Molecular Biology, Climate Change related to plant diversity, DNA Barcoding. Current research is about the molecular phylogeny of Shorea and Dipterocarpus genera from Ketambe Research Station Leuser Ecosystem using trnH-psbA gene.

a lecturer at Informatics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University Unsyiah. I completed my Ph.D studies under the supervision of prof. dr. Arno Siebes at the Algorithmic Data Analysis group at Department of Information and Computing Sciences, Universiteit Utrecht, The Netherlands.

Graduated with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty in 2007. In 2011 I completed my Master’s Degree Program in Communication and Media Engineering, University of Applied Science, Offenburg, Germany. I am currently a faculty member of Informatics Unsyiah since 2012 until now. I lead students in the field of Networking and Information, Communication and Technology for Development (ICT4D). Currently I am also involved in the development of several information systems based on Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) in cooperation with various related parties.
